Damon Pierce and Meister Schmerz met at the infamous Dragonfly Club in Los Angeles. Both were working on a flesh hook performance art show with Constructs of Ritual Evolution (CoRE) and Aesthetic Meat Front (AMF). Over the next six years, while Schmerz was Director of the Los Angeles CoRE Chapter, they worked together on many large scale flesh hook suspension shows. During this time they had many discussions on their BDSM Philosophies, Protocols, and Rituals and found that they had many common interests and ideas.
Over the next several years, Damon further established himself as a director and bondage rigger of international renown, working for numerous production companies and publications. His passion for restraint led to the creation of his rope company, VintageRope.com. Schmerz continued working on productions in Los Angeles while performing his way to infamy in the LA BDSM underground scene. The two would meet and collaborate at BDSM conventions around the country teaching, performing, and expanding the boundaries of their their art. In 2011, Meister Schmerz was participating in a hook suspension convention in Oslo, Norway. It was there that he got the email that would change everything. Damon, after years working for Intersec Interactive (formerly INSEX.com), was returning to Los Angeles. Schmerz and Damon officially teamed up and hit the ground running, combing LA for the perfect base of operations for SlaveToBondage. They found that place in Parliament House, a 4,000 square foot warehouse that Damon and Schmerz transformed into a Leather Family Dream Home.
